Re-building Cacouna (originally built at 1932) was one of our most challenging and exciting experiences. Most important obligation at rebuilding process was to think as it is still 1932 and you can use materials, production methods and detailing only as 1932. Even cross-head screws couldn't be used. Solid mahogany panellings had been French polished. Classic nosings and brush paint panels had been used with brass hardware on the boat.
